Storytelling in a pandemic

When I lived in Minneapolis, I was lucky enough to participate in the Story Club series. It was always a great mix of open mic and curated storytellers from around the Twin Cities with an occasional out of town guest.

One of the silver linings of the pandemic is that this local storytelling event could, thanks to Zoom, become very international. I was invited to participate in the virtual event on June 18, 2020 from my home in Montreal alongside folks in New York City, Seattle and Minneapolis.

It was sweltering hot in my apartment but I think it went off without a hitch!
